Canopy Adventure Volcan Barva is located 1/2 and hour from San José on an amazing and majestic 1700 acre piece of land in San José de la Montana at the foot of the Barva Volcano, which is the largest volcanic mass in Central America. Being quite a bit scared of heights, alaska vacation travel I was a little apprehensive at first. However, very soon into the tour, we we re given full training, professional safety gear and a lot of kind encouragement from the amazing tour guides. The first zip line was a little scary, but after the second I was hooked! What you see zipping through the canopies is out of this world! Everyone was absolutely amazing, and the staff we re helpful and a real pleasure! If you do have a fear of heights (like me) I still strongly urge you to try it out. And if you still don t want to, they have acres and acres of unspoiled, tropical lush land where you can hike, mountain bike and explore the beauty alaska vacation travel of Costa Rican nature til your heart's content! A true adventure play ground and only a 45 minute drive from the city! This is by far an unforgettable experience that I will cherish! Thank you to all who were involved Pura Vida!
Excellent experience! Our guides were very sweet and helpful, alaska vacation travel Douglas and Jackson I remember for sure. They give you a quick 10 minute training session, then you are off to the first platform .very exciting! We did eight platforms awesome! Two people in our group were extremely nervous but mustered the courage to do it, and absolutely loved it no regrets! This company did a fantastic job, they use the wooden block brakes on the cables so you don t have to worry about how to brake yourself at the end .just enjoy the view! I would definitely recommend Canopy Adventure Volcan Barva because I felt they were serious about safety, and were very experienced with first-timers.
