The Wyndham name has been dropped from the Sugar Bay Resort in St. Thomas as of July 7, according to an announcement from Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. The large (295-room) hotel had been managed hotel valencia san antonio by Wyndham since 1994; last July, the company announced that the hotel will convert to an all-inclusive property. For the time being, the U.S. Virgin Islands hotel is being operated independently as the Sugar Bay Resort and Spa .
