The airline is offering to fly about two dozen relatives of Alex Sullivan, who died at the theater on his 27th birthday , from their homes in Rochester, N.Y. to Denver to attend memorial services, according to a Facebook posting on United's wall .
Sullivan's uncle, Bob Schwab, who posted the message, called it "an amazing gesture." Another relative told a Rochester-area TV station that "It's a fantastic example for my kids. It shows what this country is made of."

VERY hard for me to say or feel "WTG" United. My dad (I miss you daddy 1-24-07) worked his butt off for UAL and when he died his family was dumped train travel italy by United. My guess is that "any commercial airline" i.e. Delta, Southwest would offer the same if asked.
