This is a picture of a large cruise ship sailing down Broughton biloxi ms hotels Strait which separates Vancouver Island from Malcolm and and Cormorant Islands. In the background can be seen the Coast Mountains, an important mountain range in North America which extends from southwest Yukon and the Alaska Panhandle and down virtually all of the coast of British Columbia, a distance of about 1,600 kilometres or 990 miles.
Cruises are a favourite way of seeing coastal British Columbia and Alaska since they combine food, transport, accommodation biloxi ms hotels and entertainment into one package for the traveller. Like floating hotels or even mini cities, some cruise ships have a capacity of more than 2,500 passengers and the facilities range through gyms, swimming pools, computer rooms, casinos, and special biloxi ms hotels children's entertainment. Some of the larger cabins have outside balconies and hot tubs.
I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III , aperture of f/8.0, exposure time of 1/60 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 200mm.
