very surprised also...last i heard they were not touring this year so i stopped checking! got an ema

September 1st and 2nd at the Revel in Atlantic City. There are a variety of Pre-Sales and tickets go on sale to the general public on July 20th. VIP Nation (the former I Love All Access) will have vip packages available as well.
Our guess is that this is not the start of a tour (especially since Joe has solo dates scheduled after this), but a few special shows over a holiday weekend at a relatively new casino who is probably paying the band a lot of money.
Yes, Joe s concert date and venue have changed. People who have tickets can get a refund, or they will be reassigned comparable seats in the near future. I am looking forward to the show. I really enjoy Joe s new album.
L M, You think YOU were surprised---imagine my SHOCK when, at lunch yesterday, I heard the announcement on my fav radio station (WMGK) in Phila. Man, did I let out a scream (luckily I was alone in my car at the time). Anyway, I have been to the Ravel twice. If you folks have any questions about either the venue or Atlantic City in general, please ask. I will be happy to act as anyone s travel guide if necessary. OF COURSE I PLAN TO TRY TO GET A TIX AND GO MYSELF TO BOTH SHOWS!!!!
very surprised also...last i heard they were not touring this year so i stopped checking! got an email from revel about the show.....ticket prices are OUTRAGOUS(for st pete beach hotels me anyway) $95-$375....hope the cheap seats are good ones....the venue seems to be set up with no distractions..open concept...looking forward to this concert..we st pete beach hotels have tickets for bruce on sept 2..will be a great weekend if i can get tickets.....rooms st pete beach hotels are also over the top since its a holiday weekend...
Silly question here. How tough is it to get tickets to one of these casino gigs, given the size of the venue? Ticket purchasing for all concerts (not just the Eagles) has gotten outrageous over the past few years - and I m not even talking about the prices. All of these pre-sales (and there appear to be a few this week for these shows, albeit without details as far as passwords/pricing) never seem to offer the best seats - not sure if that s just the way it is or if the brokers scooped them all up. I find it interesting that the brokers seem to have a pretty large inventory of seats - how the heck do they have them already for these shows? Something s fishy - either they ve managed to get through Ticketmaster s security measures aimed at limiting the quantity (for shows already on sale) or, in this case, the venue/artist have set some aside in advance for the brokers. st pete beach hotels Any thoughts?
i have only gotten tickets for crosby stills and nash and steely dan at borgota. they were easy to get. eagles i think will be a different st pete beach hotels story. just guessing..i did note that the presale tix were not as good as day of sale tix for seger concert that was not at a casino but tix sale thru ticketmaster...i see that there are ticket agents on line all ready selling tix...for 5-6 hundred dollars st pete beach hotels ..its a joke...i agree something is fishy......we little people st pete beach hotels that just want to go see a stinking concert st pete beach hotels are the ones that suffer....i did call revel and spoke to an employee that saw a show in ovation hall. she said not a bad seat in the house..(they all say that) but i believe her..lol good luck!
I ve been to several casino concerts over the past couple years. I usually can get good seats, but they tend to save tickets for their high rollers . The seating looks similar to the Borgata which does have good views but I, of course, am not happy unless I m in the first few rows! The other negative about the casino shows - they always seem to be shorter. At one concert Henley stated they wanted people to get out to the gambling area lose money.
Thanks Cole and Debbie. I managed to get a couple of decent seats - not the greatest, but not terrible either. I ve certainly been much closer in the past at larger venues for the same or better prices. Oh well, I guess I should just be glad we re going and we don t have to fly out to Vegas to catch them this year. I kind of figured this would be a shorter st pete beach hotels show. I guess the days of the 3 1/2 hour extravaganzas like in 2008-2010 are gone.
Hey Mr. Henley, (Just in case you ever DO read this)---I intend to come to the Sun (Sept 2) show---could not afford $375---intend to be in the $250 seats. You do know the dress code in AC on Labor Day is beachwear ---could you please wear the afore-mentioned beachwear AND your beautiful brown boots?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance for considering my request. Best wishes, Mary R.
Since I have Springsteen 9/2 and 9/3 and work 9/1 and 9/4 I will skip this. After seeing 3 hour shows I am not enthused about a 20-22 song set. More of this though has to do with the train from AC not leaving until 1:49AM; I refuse to drive down there on a holiday weekend.
Somewhat of a change in mind- did get a ticket in row A of the mezzanine for $155 in the center, for $95 the seats were on the side or in back. How did everyone do with tickets? It seems they went rather quickly in most levels
I was online at 10 unable to get what I wanted. We do have 6 people going I was going to split it up either be getting 2 4 or 3 sets of 2. I had no luck. I m just going to sit back wait it out - hoping other tickets st pete beach hotels will be available over time. I ve been really spoiled over the past several years of getting the first 3 rows am willing to just wait see what happens. I just looked on TM there are only a handful of tickets left -- very frustrating.
