An intimate boutique hotel, The Orlando is in an oasis of calm in a chaotic city. This quiet hotel is ideal for resting up in between norwegian fjord cruises shopping sprees and eating orgies. Soothing beige and earth-tone décor with burnt orange accents norwegian fjord cruises add to the hotel's sophisticated ambiance.
Strategically located near all the action, the The Orlando is just steps away from some of Los Angeles' primo shopping and eating establishments on West Third Street – an enclave of 10 blocks between La Cienega Blvd and Fairfax Ave. It s also about a 10-minute ride to The Hollywood Bowl and LACMA and a pleasant walk to the Farmer s Market and the Beverly Center.
Owned and operated by the same family for over 30 years, you'll easily get spoiled by The Orlando's attentive service and the friendly staff who are always happy to fill you in on where to go, what to do and where to eat. All of this personal service comes with a warm smile – the staff definitely graduated with honors from the Dale Carnegie Institute.
The Orlando's staff truly goes out of their way to be accommodating – I know from my own experience as a high maintenance guest. When I was lost in Venice Beach the staff was so worried about me, they insisted on dispatching a cab to come and fetch me. They never complained when I couldn't close my overstuffed suitcase (from too much shopping of course); instead, they shipped my package home. Now, that's what I call good old fashioned service that you just can't beat, not even by a 5 star luxury hotel.
The Orlando recently norwegian fjord cruises underwent a major facelift to the tune of $6 million dollars. The spacious rooms are ultra-comfy and provide everything today's savvy traveler expects: flat screen TVs, 300 thread count linens, 24-hour concierge service, and best of all, the hotel is pet-friendly.
My room was very comfy with all the amenities I could possibly want including yummy noshes from Joan's on Third and organic treats like chocolate covered norwegian fjord cruises pistachios. I could see the salt water pool and spa deck tucked away in a nice quiet spot from my room – great for chilling after a day of shopping. There's also a complimentary business center and the new Churchill's restaurant, one of L.A.'s hot gathering spots for the "in" crowd. The eatery features all-day brunch with bottomless Mimosa's.
