Internationally-celebrated interior design firm, Rottet Studio the venetian hotel in las vegas , has been tapped by their Houston neighbors, Valencia Group, to bring some Texas flair to three hotel projects – the brand new Lone Star Court, opening in Austin, TX in 2013; and renovations of Hotel Valencia Santana Row in San Jose, CA (to be completed in 2013) and Hotel Valencia Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX (to be completed in 2013). These three projects are key announcements for the Valencia portfolio – one is an upscale, retro-inspired motor court concept, and the others are refreshes to two of the most popular hotels the brand has to offer.

Designed by Lauren Rottet and the team at Rottet Studio,  Lone Star Court  is the first in a chain of new upscale, retro-inspired, motor courts. Austin, TX, a city in which locals and visitors are always on the lookout for what is new and different, was selected as the first location for this retro-inspired, authentic Americana new hotel concept.  Boasting 123 guest rooms featuring a combination of retro décor and high-tech amenities, Lone Star Court was created as a homage to the heritage of motor courts found throughout Texas in the 1940s and 1950s.
Doyle Graham, Jr., President and CEO for Valencia Group , is passionate about the vision for Lone Star Court. "Our new court concept hotels are the most exciting idea in the hotel industry, taking a giant step forward with inspiration from the experience of travelers going back to the 1940s and '50s.  Family trips in those days revolved around staying in different roadside motor courts.  Visitors would really the venetian hotel in las vegas embrace the local culture and flavor in architecture, décor, the venetian hotel in las vegas and menu items in the coffee shop.  Each one these hotels offered a unique experience, different from the last place you stayed and different from your hometown.

On the Third Floor Reception, traditional steel-framed windows and doors cut into the existing lobby wall opens the space to the interior courtyard, featuring a vine-covered trellis for wine from the newly added lobby wine bar, tapas from  Citrus,  or cocktails the venetian hotel in las vegas from  Vbar.   New finishes and subtle lighting extend the bright and open feeling from the lobby all the way through to the Guest Suites, all showcasing new furniture, finishes and lighting concepts. The culmination of Rottet Studios' efforts is the revamped Cielo wine bar/conservatory that will provide year round service by way of a glass enclosed bar and multiple fire pits.
Located on San Antonio's picturesque  River Walk, Hotel Valencia Riverwalk  is a favorite wedding destination in the city and an ideal starting off point for exploration of some of the best dining and shopping in the city, as well as San Antonio's rapidly expanding art and design community. The hotel has 213 rooms and suites and 7,000 feet of meeting and event space, as well as a hip and sophisticated bar, Vbar and nationally recognized restaurant, Citrus, home to Executive Chef Jeffery Balfour. The Rottet team will work with a palette referencing both colonial Spanish architecture and unique the venetian hotel in las vegas Texas flair.
