LAS VEGAS (August 25) Racing at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is never short on excitement for drivers in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, but now that the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino is the official hotel of the series, the excitement will ratchet up even further. The Stratosphere, which on top of its wide array of games in its casino, also features some of the most thrilling experiences a visitor to Las Vegas can have. High above the legendary Las Vegas Strip is the BigShot, which launches riders more than 1,000 feet above street level, and the X-Scream, which is giant teeter-totter that propels thrill-seekers 27 feet over the edge of the Tower, some 866 feet above the ground. Then there is the Stratosphere's newest attraction, the SkyJump, a controlled freefall from more than 800 feet at a scream-inducing speed. Even if Sportsman racers don't sample all the excitement the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino has to offer during the Oct. 28-31 NHRA Las Vegas Nationals, they can get an exciting rate at the hotel for their stay. Racers can follow this link Stratosphere Lucas Oil Sportsman Series Promotion or call 1-800-998-6937 and ask for the " LUCAS " group rate to cash in on this deal.
Room rates for drivers, crew personnel, and their support staff are $29 on Oct. 27-28, $69 on Oct. 29-30 and $39 on Oct. 31. Racers are encouraged to book soon in order to take advantage of this deal for the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series.
