On the way to Lancaster County Linda, our Trafalgar Travel Director surprised us with a Hidden Treas
After a full American buffet breakfast we set out on a tour of New York City, which included the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Times Square exotic car rentals in dallas tx and Central Park. We then continued south to Washington D.C. stopping by Philadelphia on the way to visit Independence Hall. That evening in DC, we enjoyed a very nice three course Highlight Dinner at the historic Union Station.
Louanne, our Local Guide in Washington was very good. We visited Lafayette Park, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial as well as the World War II and Vietnam War memorials and the Arlington National Cemetery. Here we took a guided tour on their hop on, hop off bus. Our highlight was seeing the Kennedy gravesites.
On the way to Lancaster County Linda, our Trafalgar Travel Director surprised us with a Hidden Treasure – Kitchen Kettle, which is a small village made up of specialty shops and Lancaster's most popular canning kitchen, where locals make delicious homemade treats. After a brief lunch stop, we joined our Local Guide, John, for a tour at a working Amish farm. He was excellent at explaining the Amish people, their lifestyle and culture. From there we went through the countryside which was covered in corn crops and arrived at our hotel for the night, exotic car rentals in dallas tx The Inn at Leola Village . Dinner was at the hotel and we were served by lovely waitresses dressed in traditional Amish dresses. After dessert the chef came out and showed us how to make whoopie pies, which are small round chocolate cakes with a marshmallow filling – an Amish speciality.

Upon arrival we had a tasting of three wines including their speciality Vice – the world's first vodka icewine martini. In the morning we all boarded the Maid of the Mist boat for our excursion to the falls. The boat got very close to the bottom of these falls and we all got wet! After the cruise we had a couple of hours free to explore Niagara, so we took the opportunity to jump on the large wheel to get great views of the falls and the surrounding area. Hi, Tidy casual clothes for the restaurants. The group we were with dressed up for the Farewell Dinner. Most times our luggage did not arrive back to our rooms in time to change so it was not a problem wearing what we already had on. Hope this info is helpful.
