Buses and Public Transportation: Whenever possible, visitors should travel by bus only during daylight hours and only by first-class conveyance. Although large cruise ship pictures the police have made progress in bringing this area under control, armed robberies of entire busloads of passengers still occur.

Flaunting, of anything, is not a good idea: keep your cash out of sight, protect your credit cards, leave the jewelry at home; don t act lost , be cognizant of those around you, be polite/ not over-friendly.
True, good rules to follow in any town, but for right now, Mexico is actually having a chronic issue with buses being raided . I m not saying don t take the bus, but please be mindful of the potential of robbery, kidnapping, rape, and murder threat by just hoppin on a bus.
