Meet Stacy Nick (pictured left).  They are our latest lucky friends who got to take Coco, our Social Cabana away for a free adventure around the South Island of New Zealand.  It sounds like they had a great time and definately did some miles!  If you're keen to check out more photos from their trip you can do so here .  Jealous?  Then apply to take Coco away on an adventure yourself.  She is FREE!  Check out www.jucy4free.co.nz Love, Lucy xx
We picked up Lucy and Coco, so excited to try out the campervan and see the South Island of New Zealand. kauai hotel The trip will be a bit quirky as we ve visited south island before and wanted to explore the eccentric side of NZ.  Driving to Wanaka took 6 hours and we drove past Lake Tekapo which is a deep blue hue from the particulates of glaciers grinding down stone.
Oh my goodness Puzzling World in Wanaka was exciting and adventuresome.  Holograms and the following faces room played with our minds but we didn t take on the big maze.  Afterwards we visited Wanaka beer works and had a lovely private tour and tasting.  Lucy enjoyed the Monk Belgian which was powerful and delicious!  After some pictures kauai hotel on Lake Wanaka we called it an early night.
Lucy, coco, Stacy and I have started off with a blast driving straight kauai hotel from Wanaka and Lake Hawea to Queenstown and Gore.  We had plenty of time to laze around and find great photo opportunities like the 45th parallel and the Gibbston cheesery I didn t even know cheesery was a word.  Fergburger was our main destination in Queenstown and since Lucy is shy we didn t hang out with all the school holiday revellers or attempt AJ Hackett bungy jumping.
Gore was a big surprise in a little package.  We visited the giant fish in the town centre representing the world class brown trout fishing and saw the Hakanui distillery museum at the I site.  On the way to Dunedin there was a stellar petrified forest in Curio bay in the Catlins.  Next a brief stop to Purakaunui Falls was well worth the stop.  An easy walk from the parking lot, the trail takes you through beautiful native forests and a multi layered fall.  Also we made it to Nugget Point in time to see the rarest penguin the Yellow Eyed Penguin coming in for the evening.
Friday the Thirteenth was not a frightful day like you are led to believe.  It s a day where Coco was turned into Cadbury Cocoa at the Cadbury Chocolate Festival.  Unfortunately it was the last day but we were able to see the Jaffa roll where thousands of these tiny hard shelled candies are thrown down Baldwin St.  Of course when you are in Dunedin you must visit the famous Speight s Brewery, the hometown of the the Southern Man.  Also, a lesser known brewery is Emerson s which had good brews for tasting.
Our last day in Dunedin was spent waiting in line and watching NZ s Got Talent auditions in the gorgeous Regency Theatre in the Octagon.  Between a howling beagle, flame catcher, talented singers and dancers, it was a wonderful slice of Kiwiana.
Our last day with Coco and Lucy and we could hardly contain our tears.  It was a great trip and we all got along really well.  hopefully the next group can have more awesome adventures and experiences with The Jucy Team Coco and Lucy!
