Having been on several cruises, I agree with all of the above. This time around, I am traveling with

When we recently posted our suggestions on Five Things Not to Do on Your First Cruise , we were assuming our well-traveled readers would chime in and you did, in a big way. From which cabins not to book to which spa treatments to avoid, we've culled through your tips and picked out more than a dozen other things that first-time cruisers should san diego beach hotel pet avoid. Then again, anyone heading onto the high seas whether veteran or newbie would be wise to get clued in on these cruising bugaboos.
Don t pick the wrong cruise or cabin. "For first-time cruisers, san diego beach hotel pet it is important that you match your personal preferences to a cruise line that best fits your personality or that best fits what you are looking for this specific vacation," comments Steven P. That being said, be wary of creating too high a precedent. "Don t book a suite as your first cruise san diego beach hotel pet cabin. You will be forever spoiled and NOT ever want to book anything else!" said Ali. (See our Tips for Choosing a Cabin .)
Don t pick the wrong person to travel with. Said Holly K: "Don't take the wrong person along. An anti-social misfit alcoholic is not going to be a fun cruise companion." She s not alone with this thought. "Unfortunately my first pleasure cruise was with a stick-in-the-mud ex-girlfriend (we were dating at the time) who had been on several cruises previously," said Bob Rauchfleisch, noting that all she wanted to do was lounge in the cabin.
Don t take packing lightly. "One if my tips is, don't pack your passport in your luggage or you will not be let onboard until they find your luggage among thousands of luggage," said Janet Ortega. In a similar vein, Sue suggests, "I have found that always having a backpack to go on excursions with is the best thing…Everything, including a light rain coat, is always at hand." (Check out our Top 10 Cruise Packing Tips .)
Don t neglect the staff. "We have taken many cruises over the years and we always bring candy with us to give to the staff. It is amazing this little act of kindness brings a smile to their faces," said Woodenduck.
Don t spend your money on things you don t need. "Do limit your purchases of Caribbean-style clothing. It is easy to get caught up in the ambience, but I promise that once you get back home you won't wear it like you thought you would. Ask me how I know…" commented Sandy B.
Don t forget san diego beach hotel pet to save room for souvenirs. Splurging is one thing, but you'll most certainly want to bring home a few mementos, so make sure you have room in your luggage. "Pack a collapsible extra bag for all the stuff you will bring home even though you swore you weren't getting anything!" suggests Eilean.
Don t use the elevators if you can avoid them. Waiting for the elevator could easily take you five minutes each way. "You waste a lot of time waiting, and there are many who really need to use it," warns Jan Brandvold. Plus, taking the stairs could help you keep off the extra pounds Gail Guilliams mentioned in her tip. (For more ways to stay slim at sea, check out Cruise Critic s 10 tips .)
Don t get your teeth whitened. "Do not go for the teeth whitening, no matter how cheap it is. We made the mistake san diego beach hotel pet of doing it on our first day and our gums were so sore for a couple days, we couldn't enjoy the food," said Tonya.
Don t forget to pack your chill pills. "Don't complain! You are on an incredible ship, eating incredible food, having your bed made several times a day and people from around the world are AWAY from their FAMILIES to serve us, the cruise passenger guests," insists Scott Lara. Remember that even when things go wrong, you can still have fun if you take it all in stride.
Don't forget the obvious. This one's a no-brainer. "Join the Roll Call for your cruise! You will get to make friends with fellow passengers in advance. You get to meet these friends san diego beach hotel pet at a Meet and Mingle event on the first sea day," suggests B moreCruiser. (Find out about Cruise Critic s famous Roll Calls .)
Try, try, try not to lose your temper at the animals in the buffet. They are starving to death and will push you out of the way to get a crust of bread. They have not eaten in their entire lives so they are desperate. Try to show consideration for these, poor, starving animals.
FRANK that is too funny!!! But it s so true. I have seen some people at the buffet who do act like they have just woken up from a 10 yr coma and want to fit as much on their plate as they possibly can. Ever see Fun with Dick Jane when they go to the buffet. . . . . ?
I do have a question someone mentioned above that they give candy to the crew members as a little thank you. Is there anything else you can give them besides candy money (which a cash tip is the most preferred gift )?
Don t BE SHY! ~ You are on a cruise Do the limbo ~ try karaoke ~ enter the contest ! HAVE FUN! After my last cruise a few of my travel companions regretting not being more like me. You may never see these people again or Maybe you will
So true about the cabins! We stayed in ocean view first, then balcony, then a suite, then my hubby booked a cheapie cruise in an inside cabin and I couldn t stand it! Now when he suggests san diego beach hotel pet a cheap cruise san diego beach hotel pet with an inside cabin, I say I d rather wait until we can afford the balcony! Sounds horrible, but sitting and relaxing on the balcony after an excursion day is just too great. Also agree with the comment on \chill pill\. There are annoying people everywhere, try to ignore them, or walk away. No sense in getting your stress san diego beach hotel pet level up dealing with them. If you let them, they will ruin your experience. Just don t let them!
I always leave a few dollars for the room steward every morning. Be sure to leave a note that it is for them. Room stewards who are normally attentive get very attentive once they see you are leaving an extra tip each day. I even slip them a 5 or 10 on my first meeting with them. This is a relatively small expense and can make a big difference in the quality of the service you receive. Remember, your room steward is frequently your primary contact on the ship,
Don t feel like you have to take an expensive excursion to enjoy your time in port. Some of my best memories are of hanging out at the beach away from all the tourists where the locals frequent, exploring a city on my own and soaking up the culture, and buying fresh fruit, bread and cheese for a picnic san diego beach hotel pet lunch. Be a little adventurous san diego beach hotel pet and try something san diego beach hotel pet new. The whole point of visiting a different country is to learn and appreciate other cultures. Plan wisely and get back in time so you don t miss the boat!
Melissa so true isn t it? We were contemplating san diego beach hotel pet a 14 day back to back cruise, san diego beach hotel pet and opted for a 7 day in a balcony since the only way we could afford a b2b was an inside cabin hmmmm 14 days without fresh air, or only 7 days with a balcony pathetic but true this never would have been a problem san diego beach hotel pet before we d stayed in a balcony room
Yes, do join in the fun. The first night of our first cruise, my wife volunteered us for an on-stage couples contest. The audience thought we should have won from that point on the entire ship knew Mary and Larry.
Having been on several cruises, I agree with all of the above. This time around, I am traveling with cancer. The cruise line is bringing a wheelchair down to the entrance. Be sure to request this special if you are traveling with an elderly or handicapped person.
Don t bring infants or toddlers. Cruise lines aren t equipped to provide for anyone under three. It might be a legal liability thing, or it might simply be that too many parents have too many demands, so the cruise lines just give up and assume the parents will accept full responsibility for their kids food and entertainment. That s a tough thing to do in general, let alone on a boat with no access to regular stores.
Candy is a great idea to give the crew members. I bring little cards and a few colored markers to draw little cartoons to leave in the room for the room steward . The last day my cartoon will show how much fun we had and will thank him for all he did
Loving all the advice! One thing I have learned is space is tight in the cabins, I love collapsable luggage. There are four of us so every bit counts, I like the wheeled duffle bags. Stuff them inside each other and save lots of extra room under the bed for shoppoing finds at port.
Don t take all new clothes and shoes! The second you step off the ship it just screams TOURIST You also don t want to be breaking in new shoes on a cruise. Look at the locals, they dress in their comfortable shoes and regular clothes. You should, too. Also, do some research and skip the excursions if you can. Our first cruise we took excursions in nearly every port, even the ones on the bus where you only get off for a 5 minute photo op. What a waste. Now, we know where to catch the bus, tram or metro, download a map, decide what we want to see and go. We ve been doing that for 4 years, since our 2 daughters were 7 and have never had a problem, all over Europe and the Med. Learn please, thank you, how much? and where s the bathroom in the language of the country you are visiting. We also learn please and thank you from the different staff we encounter on the ship and always use it when we see them. One last thing, san diego beach hotel pet Pack enough clothes for half your trip and do laundry midway through! I guarantee no one notices if you already wore that blouse to dinner!
My husband and I have been cruising at least once a year since 1998, All of the tips I ve read so far are right on the money. san diego beach hotel pet Here are a few I value *I know a few people on several different islands so I will go off alone with them .but if you don t, DO NOT .the cruise ship will not wait for you if you re late, some of the people who run these private tours are not professional and some are criminal. *Try different cruise lines. We started off with Carnival, san diego beach hotel pet then RCCL, Princess, and now we are Celebrity loyalists. san diego beach hotel pet They were all fun. *Inside cabins have thier own appeal ..if you like napping san diego beach hotel pet in the afternoon it s pitch black. Mrs Williams was always Mrs Williams to me and everyone else associated with the laundry this sugges

On the 14th January Safe Ground lost someone who proved to be a bedrock of  the change that we as an organisation are committed to. Mrs Williams who as a member of the Battersea triangle rent a car community volunteered to appear as Gloria in our film Blinder , which has not only impacted positively on the lives of prisoners, their friends, family triangle rent a car and supporters locally but all over the country. Today Gloria and Blinder are drawing interest in our programmes and the way we work from governments and organisations throughout the world. Safe Ground will always be grateful for and inspired by Mrs Williams s contribution to our mission. In the letter below Safe Ground triangle rent a car s Founder triangle rent a car and former Chief Executive, Antonia Rubinstein, remembers triangle rent a car her :
I first met Mrs Williams in 1993. She worked in my local launderette, in a rota with Rita, Lucy and Mrs Robertson at 41 Lavender Hill. Living in the run-down mews at the rear of the building I was a frequent user of the service wash she provided.
However, from time-to-time I would supervise my own wash and whilst keeping an eye on the progress of my laundry would muscle in on what ever conversation Mrs Williams might be having at the time with other customers or a friend who had dropped in for a chat. This was how we came to know each other.
Mrs Williams was always Mrs Williams to me and everyone else associated with the laundry this suggested that she saw herself as top dog in the team of ladies who worked for Matt, the Iranian ex Air force pilot, who owned the business.
Mrs Williams was queen of folding. She positioned herself in the furthest corner to the front door. From here she could see who was coming and going without her presence triangle rent a car being immediately apparent to the customers. She sat on a robust chair between an old fashioned boneshaker spinning drum and two dryers which were for her use only. In front of a seated Mrs Williams was a plastic basket on a chair and this is where the folding took place.  She would fold each item, smoothing out the creases before folding again and firmly pressing the material with her strong hands that had once seen a lot of hard domestic work. She would do this as many times as needed to enable her to fit all the washed items back into the bag delivered to her earlier in the day by one of her many regular customers. triangle rent a car I never saw her standing triangle rent a car to fold sheets or duvet covers. She must have had a method because I never saw her struggle with large expanses of material. If Mrs Williams triangle rent a car had done the folding there was never any need to iron.
As the years passed Mrs Williams saw me as a more permanent fixture in the neighborhood. She knew about my work in prisons and we had talked many times on what to do with young people who couldn t be tamed by home or school. triangle rent a car She had met my mother, they were the same age and had exchanged knowing and unspoken glances that take place between people who have shared the experience of being a mother and wife. We talked about holidays and high days and she was always trying to convince me of the merits of going on a cruise. Each year would be defined by her preparation for the cruise, her departure and return. She talked about saving up for them and there was always a new patterned shirt, with the name of a destination printed on it, to mark a cruise had been accomplished.
Back in the 1990s when I was a newcomer to the neighbourhood Mrs Williams would tell me about how much it had changed since her arrival in London from Jamaica. I heard about how her husband came before her and how she had been on the receiving end of racial prejudice. She gave me a glimpse into what life was like for her and her family as immigrants to Battersea in the 1950s. She was a survivor and most definitely regal there was no patronising Mrs Williams. She was extremely proud of the decision she made in purchasing her house in Glycena Road. With the price of property today it showed great forward thinking. A shrewd investment from a shrewd lady!
The launderette was a good place to drop in for local gossip . I remember one occasion involving an MP who was known to his party as a dedicated family man.  He had been seen emerging triangle rent a car from Start Stream the Sauna across the road from the launderette a notable hangout for gay men. There was a public expose and the red tops carried headlines and photographs of the outed MP. Mrs Williams triangle rent a car knew who came in and out of that sauna!
In 2000 I made a film and asked Mrs Williams if she would play the part of the heroine s mother. I had her in mind when developing the script. Her voice and her physicality which represented determination and resilience meant she fitted the bill absolutely. I was so pleased when she said yes, her acceptance signalled approval and support triangle rent a car for the work I was doing in the education of prisoners and the reform of education in prisons.
When it came to the day of filming I picked up her from house in Glycena Road. We drove to the location in Tulse Hill and on the way I cautiously asked her what her first name was because I thought introducing her as Mrs Williams to the rest of the cast and crew may appear a little formal. She answered, uncharacteristically in a shy voice Willamina . At that point an aspect of Mrs Williams, I didn t know about, entered my imagination her life as a child and a young woman in Jamaica. Until then I had never thought of her as someone's child or as a younger member of a large family. I only ever thought triangle rent a car of her as Mrs Williams   the Mother and Matriarch . When we got to the set and I was thinking of introducing her to everyone calling her Willamina it didn t seem right because she hadn t volunteered her first name to me so she was known by the cast and crew as .Mrs Williams.
Mrs Williams was very excited about being in the film. She delivered her line It s ready! perfectly, said as she emerged from a set of french windows into a garden holding a tea pot. A few more takes were required for the other actors and technicians but Mrs Williams delivered her line and moves precisely.
From this moment on Mrs Williams was immortalised on film and has her place in the history of British Penal Dramas. triangle rent a car Her character Gloria Frank s mother -in-law and Jill s mother, is a character firmly imprinted in the imagination of thousands of prisoners who have since seen the Blinder . Mrs Williams wears a pink top, places a tea pot on a table, arranging flowers in a vase and smiles before delivering It s ready ,the last line in the film symbolizing the new start for all the principal characters in the drama.
After her retirement from the launderette I would see her frequently walking along Lavender Hill always happy to see me her distinctive smile, huge open and broad punctuated by the gap between her two front top teeth.

Starting a Paleo pantry can be expensive especially if you come from The Fast Food Nation. There are

What's the experience of mamaing (or daddying) really like? Mama Around the House talks about all the possible things you could think of as a parent. Guest bloggers will show up often because it's good to get everyone's perspectives on parenting. Enjoy! And feel free to email me if you want to be a guest blogger!
We've been eating the "Paleo plan" or "diet" or whatever holiday inn official website you choose to call it (it's not a diet, it's a way of thinking about food, but I won't get on my soapbox) for almost a month. I know that somewhere out there ("beneath the pale moonlight...") there's someone wondering about Paleo and what to avoid while doing it. Well, here's what I've learned so far.
If you've ever had the "low blood sugar blahs" then this is 500x worse. At least at our house it's like someone's Bringing Cranky Back in full swing. Your frontal lobe of your brain which controls good decision making, tact, and what facial expressions to make just doesn't work well on no food. So carry snacks and listen to your body (as opposed to a clock that says it's lunch time).
Take into account prep time for meals. Many of us came to eat Paleo from The Fast Food Nation. "We are hungry and want it now!" Well, it doesn't work that way when you're using real and fresh ingredients my friend. There is nothing (except maybe veggies) frozen here. So plan on prepping and cooking for at least 30 minutes if not more. Again, keep snacks for while you wait. We like beef jerky and celery with almond butter (instead of peanut butter). Also, if you want you can chop up often used foods (like onions and garlic) ahead of time to cut some of the prep time. We keep them in the fridge in storage bags and just take out what we need.
Starting a Paleo pantry can be expensive especially if you come from The Fast Food Nation. There are spices, types of flour (see the next section), and meat to be purchased. Lots of meat. And vegetables. Lots of vegetables. And a food processor would be super helpful (we just got ours today and it roooocks!).
Unless holiday inn official website you live in Awesome Land (and I don't even know where that is), you may not find all that you're looking for at one store. For example, I found almond butter, coconut flour, and almond flour at H.E.B. holiday inn official website The almond flour was $12.99 for a 1 lb bag. No joke. I found 1 lb bags of almond meal (just fine thank you) at Trader Joe's for...wait for it...$3.99 each. I had to go to Whole Foods for cashew butter. Still haven't found clarified butter (ghee) anywhere. I only found flaxseed meal at Trader Joe's. So it's kind of a crap shoot as to where you'll find what you need (and then what you'll pay for it). So there's more planning involved. You can't just run to Wal-mart to get your shiznit.
Daddy and I both work outside of the house and are at work for lunch time. It can be hard to put together something holiday inn official website for lunch. Again, it takes pre-planning (damn that pre-planning). Leftovers from the night before are an obvious one, but eating Paleo typically makes one not feel full for as long as other foods do, so we end up eating the leftovers later most nights. A lot of times I just cruise the fridge and throw a bunch of stuff in a cold bag and go. But you have to make sure when you're shopping that there's portable things that don't require large amounts of cooking at work. Tricky tricky. In a pinch there's always a salad at a fast food place, but I've even had experiences where I open a salad and I'm thinking, "There's stupid tortilla chips on my salad!" Try picking those out during a lunch meeting. Super professional (with the cape on and all).

Lucifer, my husband's German shepherd, helped me through the grief process — which included lots of hugs. Several months later, I made arrangements to adopt General and make the Malgesini pack whole again.
As my body has increased in age, my joints have become quite adept at predicting smithville new jersey hotels the weather. I honestly think a little meteorologist was surgically implanted along with the artifical knee I had put in several years ago. Since that time, I've hung up my skis and have found that bears are really onto something with that hibernation thing.
General, however, doesn't seem to recognize when the mercury dips below freezing. He still wants to go for a walk. With my schedule, it's usually at night and dark by the time I'm able to take a stroll. General doesn't care. His puppy dog eyes melt my heart and soon I'm bundling up like the Michelin smithville new jersey hotels Man and heading out the door.
After a few occasions of trying to ignore his pleading looks, I found a way to satisfy his need for exercise smithville new jersey hotels and my desire to stay warm. A laser pointer. Yup, I stand on the back porch and point the beam. General runs laps trying to catch the little red dot. Lucifer, who has no interest in the light, derives smithville new jersey hotels great pleasure in running defensive interference while his brother from a different mother chases it like a mad dog.
Additional proof that our canine kids rule the household: When we bought a new Jeep Wrangler we purchased the larger and more expensive four-door version to have more room. Also, John and I have talked for years about taking an Alaskan cruise for our 30th anniversary. That idea has been replaced with planning a trip that includes the dogs.
And the biggest indicator that love runs deep for our dogs: I'll drink after them. This is pretty significant, as I won't even let my friends drink from my glass or bottle. In fact, one time while golfing in the sweltering heat, my good friend Karin Gilliland asked if she was parched and dying of thirst, would I let her have a drink. I told her if she laid face-up on the ground, I would pour water into her mouth.
Just to be clear, no, I don't get down on all fours and drink out of their bowls. But a few weeks ago I came downstairs to find General standing in my chair with his snout in my glass lapping up my Pepsi. When I told this story to a friend, she asked if I continued to drink the rest of that Pepsi.

I would take them EVERYWHERE! There are so many times in my just daily running around I see things I

Well, I could not in all consciousness justify $150 in snacks ,  (I am pretty sure my office mates would not have minded even though right now they re pretty satiated at the moment with all the Pretzel Crisps lying around !) so, I scratched my head and started exploring.
I have a pretty smart group of freaders out there, so you probably are already aware that Staples sells cameras.  I wasn t!  After doing some of my own travels on the site I came up with the perfect compilation of products to share:  a newbie photography kit for travelers !
I am a huge fan of Canon.  My first real camera was a Canon and I have since graduated to a 5D Mark II, which is what Mr. Misadventures has too.  We re a Canon family and we always will be!  I checked out the Canon line that Staples carried and read the customer reviews not only on their site but a few other sites as well. What I landed on was the Canon PowerShot A2300  which is a nice entry-level point-and-shoot that consistently excels in picture quality. It s price point is below $100 which I find phenomenal, I think its perfect for a young traveler or post-graduate explorer.
With camera in hand you need a memory card to capture all those awesome shots, so I ve selected a SanDisk memory card that s will get ya started. It s 16 GB so it will hold a lot of photos. Once you ve taken those photos and are ready to share, Staples has a great memory card reader for uploading to your computer, laptop or tablet.  Also, I never travel anywhere without a little analog in the form of a Moleskine notebook that I use for taking notes on locations, camera settings, restaurant recommendations, you name it.  It is the one travel tool I never leave home without.
I think I did a pretty good job with this assignment, how about you? I found products from brands that I use and love and think this kit that comes in at under $150 will serve someone well, even if   travel mean crossing from one part of town to the next.  I was completely surprised by the amount of products that Staples carries I guess that easy button really is accurate.
There is one last thing that I think would make this kit special.  And that s to take all the products I bought at  Staples.com  and throw them into a Kelly Moore Riva bag .  It s the baby of the Kelly Moore family and will fit all the contents of my newbie photography kit perfectly.
Think I totally messed up where I was meant t write and submitted without saying anything . But, I would take it all to my mum s house in Hertfordshire because I think there s a photographer inside her That just needs the kit to be released!
I would take this camera bag to a wedding we are going to in May to get a lot of pictures of the bride, groom my kids, and then to our trip to Disney to get a lot more pictures since it will be my kid s first time going.
I live in the Poconos PA There are so may things to take pictures of, the scenery is beautiful in the winter. Also we have a lot of Ski Resorts I would love to capture my son snowboarding and my daughter is involved in cheerleading so we go to a few school sport events i would love to capture her while she s young. My other daughter is Autistic but when you get he in the right mood she loves to be in pictures so i haven t many of the 3 kids together. train travel in the usa I would love to capture her with them and keep them for my family photes
I would take pictures of my cross-country train travel in the usa trip home in the summer train travel in the usa from Arizona to Maryland. When I got there I would take plenty of pictures train travel in the usa of the friends, family and boyfriend that I havent seen in months!
I would take this Everywhere! I had a Canon elf ages ago and with children, well poor camera but I was impressed with it s quality even as a point and shoot. This would be a nice everywhere adventure camera
I would take it everywhere! I have a camera, but I ve been looking for something small like this that I could take everywhere with me. I would look forward to being able to take a picture of all those I wish I had a camera moments..
I would take them EVERYWHERE! There are so many times in my just daily running around I see things I would like to take a picture of. Most of the time it s weather-related we get a lot of interesting cloud formations and such here! I would also take pictures of the mountains or deer that steal apples train travel in the usa from our backyard so many things. haha
I m taking a trip to Prague over the summer with my family to visit where my grandmother lived before coming to the US. I love history so I can t want to learn about my family and go across the pond again
If I won this newbie photography kit I would take pictures during my upcoming trip to Australia (June/July 2013). I am visiting my boyfriend (long distance relationship like you and your husband!) and other friends. I am most looking forward to getting new pictures of myself train travel in the usa and my boyfriend together. We haven t seen each other since August.
There is no such thing as too many pictures. My camerea just broke and I took pictures all the time. We goto the park, we go to the zoo, we go to the museums, I like to take picutes at all of those places to save our memories. At the end of the year, I normally turn in those pictures and have a desk calender made si I can look at them while I am working.
I personally really love photography would most look forward to finishing up my adventure of visiting each state of the US. A small camera like that would be perfect to slip in my pocket while out visiting new places to capture photo s of the things I see.
My husband and I are taking a much needed vacation alone this year. After 13 years together and 4 kids it is our first vacation as a couple. I would like to take pictures of all the beautiful sights we see. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway

I have cancer and chemo is not going well. On days i felt better, i would take pictures of things that bring me joy. Then when i dont feel like going somewhere, i could look at all the pictures. [email protected]
In March, we are taking our Granddaughter (her 1st time to the mountains), to the Dollywood Festival of Nations in Pigeon Forge, TN. Of course we will take advantage of all the attractions and rides @DollyWood A theme park that includes Dolly Parton s history museum. On the way up we are going to George Vanderbilt s 250-room Biltmore House. in Asheville, NC. On our way home we are going to Grandfather Mountain near Asheville, NC, it s one of the most biologically diverse train travel in the usa mountains named by UN as a International Biosphere Reserve. Hopefully we will have time to visit Mount Mitchell State Park ( the highest point east of the Mississippi at an elevation of 6,684 feet) and walk on the Appalachian Trail. We are so excited and would love to win this camera to take pictures of the whole trip for our memories.
I would take it to our local Nature Park/Bird of Prey Refuge and take family pictures (which we haven t done since 2009), and some recent pictures of the kids together. Thanks! hstorm799{at}gmail{dot}com
Hi what a great idea!! I would take my kit to Paris and make a beeline to Pere Lachaise cemetary and spend the day meandering through this labyrinth of stones, trees and dirt paths capturing it all on film: Miniture castles, Egyptian statues and detailed sculptures! Heaven!!!!
When i had my DSLR i used to take it everywhere because you never know when youll need to take that perfect shot. I love taking pictures of my son and i would always be on the lookout for a great shot.
I would probably take it with me to the nature trails that run throughout our city. Lots of the areaa would be covered in snow right now and would look marvelous! I d really love to take pictures of animals playing in the snow. Squirrels and chipmunks.
There is this LOVELY beach in Southern California called Crystal Cove, that is where I d take this wonderful prize. The beach is clean and there really train travel in the usa are caves (but you have to climb/get wet) and the purple crabs that reside there are beautiful (and kind of scary, lol!) The scenery is amazing, it is a place I love to go to when I want to meditate or just enjoy myself. I d love to win this prize to capture some of the beauty. Thank you so much!
I would love to take my kit when I go to visit my friend that I have not seen for a few years that moved to Manitoulin island. To take pictures of the site and I love the sunsets, which would probably be stunning there.
I live in a beautiful national forest, so I wouldn train travel in the usa t have to travel far to get some great pictures! There s a place I ve been meaning train travel in the usa to photograph, where a deep channel was carved in the mountain for the road.
If I got this camera I would constantly be taking pictures mostly of my baby sisters they re so adorable they would be constant victims of my photos, and my family ofcourse no matter how much they object I will capture the good times. I ve always wanted a camera but my parents tell me I have on in my phone so I really don t need one:) but I don t think it ll be the same. But were going to take a trip to San Fransisco, California and to snap images of a big city and the subterfuge train travel in the usa would be wonderful ( I come from a small country town). The bag is just cute and would be really convenient to carry the camera in and other things.
i would love to take it to our family reunion in nashville tennessee some family train travel in the usa ive not seen in over 35 yrs and some ive never even meet yet i would love to take pictures of everyone train travel in the usa and make an family album to

Summer is here for many of us so let s talk vacations. What better way to start than with the buzz about cruises, and, for the workaholics, social media in the travel business? Carrie Finley-Bajak, founder of Cruise Buzz , answers our questions.
I am a content creator. I write articles and produce videos about travel topics, specifically about cruising and places near the sea. My website chronicles my journeys and buzzing topics in my trade. I also consult and write about how people can use social media within their travel business.
For cruise lines , I do an analysis of the week s top stories within the social media sphere, what is working in social travel agency russia media for cruise lines, how cruise lines rank when it comes to social media, travel agency russia etc.
When I am not Cruise Buzzing, travel agency russia I do consulting work for local business here in California, helping them develop and execute social media plans. I take care of my two children, a dog, and I teach yoga once a week.
TTOT stands for Travel travel agency russia Talk on Twitter . The hashtag travel agency russia #TTOT is where an internationally diverse population of people travel agency russia gather online to engage with each other, post links to their travel articles, share ideas about places to visit, and once a week (twice on Tuesdays) we have a live Twitter chat. The co-hosts represent a large cross-section of people: bloggers, adventure travelers, expats, a cruise pundit, a travel agent, a public relations director, photographers.
I have lived near the sea my whole life except for a period of time when I resided in one of North America's best ski resorts: Vail, Colorado . The only reason I have moved around so much is because my husband (a chef) changed jobs.
I love the sea. I also love to cruise. It started travel agency russia when I went on a family vacation with my two-year-old. I actually travel agency russia was able to relax on the ship while my daughter had a blast in the kids club on board.
My goal is to create a job that is fun to go to every day. Cruise Buzz is a wonderful place to work. I get to work with amazing leaders in the cruise industry and when I am lucky, I take my office on the road, which is a ship.
MidLifeRoadTrip.tv is the organizer of the weekly travel agency russia Twitter chat called #NUTS. I am a Guest Therapist, travel agency russia which means that I help broadcast and moderate the questions. We have a lot of laughs and cover a lot of topics.
I like to stay current on technology trends and in my opinion there is nothing hotter than mobile at the moment. I became an app developer so I could put content on the app store for i-devices. What I like is that I have had the opportunity to learn about programming and how good content can get re-used on a variety of platforms. At the moment I have one port guide for sale and two cruise line portfolios that I do not charge for.
Besides my own photo showcase apps, I am a big fan of Crystal Cruises new photo app that allows users to take a photo and upload it to their Facebook travel agency russia page. I love the InterContinental Hotels Resorts Concierge app , which I have used on many occasions.
When it comes to discovering travel agency russia a good cruise app, a person needs to know what they want from it. For example, if a user is looking travel agency russia to buy a cruise, then finding an app that has the most reviews will be helpful. If a person has a cruise line in mind, then there are cruise line-specific apps available.
Some of the apps that I have reviewed are scaled-down versions of websites and tend to be a bit awkward. These are early days for cruise apps and I applaud anyone that is a pioneer in the field of app development.
The Crusie4Haiti fundraiser that I helped organize via social media after the earthquake. The other organizers and I brought holiday gifts, financial aid, medical supplies and outreach workers to three Caribbean travel agency russia ports, which included Haiti. We worked with two non-profits travel agency russia and the cruise line to deliver our donations.
My next destination will either be Europe or Canada/New England. Cruising has a great future based on industry statistics that predict the sector will experience significant growth in the years to come. But most industries right now are experiencing a hard time and cruising is not immune to fluctuations in the economy. As far as value goes, a cruise rates highly. With almost all-inclusive travel agency russia pricing, cruise travel agency russia guests pay one price and once on board can expect little additional expense. Lodging and meals are taken care of in the fare, and additional expenses can be incurred if one chooses.
I use Paper.li as a tool to help me keep track of what's travel agency russia buzzing via my Twitter lists. I publish two papers per day and I use the information to find story ideas, trends, travel agency russia and what my friends are doing.
I would play around with your Twitter lists to create travel agency russia a custom paper that reflects the news that you like the best. Use the papers to help sort through travel agency russia vast amounts of information to help get to the source of pertinent information that you can use to report and keep up with the buzz.

I assumed you were talking about the country with both the highest number of prisoners and the highest surfboard travel bags rate of incarceration-- the U.S What has especially troubled me about the US is privatization of prisons, which has naturally led to lobbying against changes in laws that would reduce incarceration rates. So we have people who are profiting from imprisonment spending a great deal of money to make sure we continue to imprison more people than any other nation in the world. I find that morally perverse. Also, the war on drugs? Thoughts?
It is the failed war on drugs that leads to these high incarceration rates, no question in my mind. I m looking forward to seeing what happens in what will become the social experimentation states of CO and WA.
Terry, what do you think motivates the war on drugs ? You d think there would be bi-partisan agreement against it. It s costing us many billions, so you d think the fiscal responsibility people would be against it. And liberals are supposed to be live and let live types, so they should, in theory, be opposed to it. But yet, the more the general population turns against the war on drugs, the more the powers that be, whether Democrat or Republican, dig in. Why do you think that is?
It is a bit of a 3rd rail, y know? I think part of the problem is the term war , which means the populace doesn t want to concede surfboard travel bags defeat. Wars on this, wars on that, it all means so very little. And it diminishes the true meaning of the word. But much of it has to do with money and peoples natural inclination to preserve the status quo.
I was thinking specifically of the drug war when I mentioned mass incarceration. I think it makes no sense to lock up non-violent offenders for crimes that many of us (including our last three presidents) have committed. It s a waste of resources, it destroys communities, and it fuels what has become an incredibly violent power struggle surfboard travel bags in Mexico. But even beyond the drug war, I think we should take a hard look at our prison surfboard travel bags policies. surfboard travel bags We have an unconscionable incarceration surfboard travel bags rate. Does anyone believe surfboard travel bags Americans are vastly more prone to criminality, compared to people in other countries? Or that we re significantly safer because we lock up so many people? And that s to say nothing of ugly racial disparities, the awful commonality surfboard travel bags of prison rape (i.e. cruel and unusual punishment), and our seeming inability to rehabilitate surfboard travel bags prisoners surfboard travel bags while they re in prison, or to reintegrate them into society once they ve served their time.
Dr X mentioned that it was privatization of prisons that may be fueling this. That is an element, but think about how many police departments, federal agencies, and public prison employees benefit by the war on drugs. Without mass incarcerations, their jobs are in jeopardy.
I m hoping, indeed praying to Thor, that Obama plans on addressing this now that he s in his second term. Addressing this first term would ve been political suicide, even though there s decent support for legalization on both sides of the aisle.
Yeah, it does seem we have the largest surfboard travel bags incarceration rate in the world. My question, and I have no idea, is how our rate would compare if you backed surfboard travel bags out drug crimes from our stats and those we are compared against. That is, let s try to normalize the rates to how violent crime rates compare.
I lot of people want to blame drugs, and you re correct non-violent offenses shouldn t receive jail time, but you re missing the larger issue. How many African Americans, other minorities in poverty surfboard travel bags make up the current prison population? How many young men from these groups turn to gangs, drugs and other crimes because they can t find meaningful employment? This is an issue close to home for me as many of my former students from these minorities end up in prison after leaving school.
surfboard travel bags So many decent points there by Edge. As a former surfboard travel bags soldier in the war on drugs, surfboard travel bags I can tell you that at least at the federal level, a lot of nonviolent offenders are getting substantial prison time, but they get it for handling very large quantities of drugs. 500 grams of cocaine is a lot of cocaine, but it s the amount that triggers the 5-year minimum surfboard travel bags under federal law. In some ways, 500 grams is not a lot of cocaine. I had cases where the conspiracy trafficked thousands of kilos. It is not atypical surfboard travel bags for a nonviolent offender to be someone who regularly served as a courier surfboard travel bags or a distributor for multi-kilo quantities. It s not small change. I remember the wholesale price of a kilo being between $18,000 and $21,000. Then at the bottom of the scale, some lookouts, couriers or enabling surfboard travel bags girlfriends got a pass, or got diversion, or got charged with something probationable. A lot of attention was paid to how fair this was.
So while many are nonviolent, many incarcerated drug offenders have made a conscious choice to break the rules and not by just a little bit. They re worth our attention, even as I ve always thought our money would be best spent on demand reduction. surfboard travel bags I had trouble understanding how or why the market s thirst surfboard travel bags for cocaine and heroin was so insatiable. Reducing demand would reduce the criminality and the incarceration levels, but I don t have the faintest idea of how to do that.
I saw a panel discussion with, among others, William Ayers ( Terrorist! Socialist! , okay, now that we have that out of our system) last night and he mentioned that there are 12,000 black men in cages in Chicago. We hear that and we just sort of unconsciously shrug - we assume that they all did bad things surfboard travel bags to get there. But if we were to hear, for instance, that 12,000 Irish men were in cages in Chicago, we d be horrified. That s how institutionalized racism works.
The fact is that blacks are stopped far more often than whites. Once stopped, blacks are arrested at higher rates than whites. They are then charged and convicted at higher rates than whites, and once convicted, they get much harsher sentences for equivalent offenses. So black male violence isn t the problem, the problem surfboard travel bags is the disparity in the treatment of blacks vs. whites (with Hispanics somewhere in between, and Asians treated more like whites, with the exception of Asians who look Muslim surfboard travel bags , who get treated more like blacks).
Here is my suggestion. Start writing to my Congresswoman -- Jan S. -- with your findings of institutionlized racism. She is a hardcore liberal. Have her direct your letter to Eric Holder. And ask Holder to show it to our President Obama.
I agree with MCN (I know you re all surprised) surfboard travel bags that I don t think the war on drugs benefits the police or government in any way. I say this as someone who is firmly opposed to the war on drugs and would like to see marijuana legalized (and other narcotics in time - Brian E is right about staying practical). The motivation for the war on drugs is the same as the motivation for the war on tobacco, the war on alcohol, and now the war on sugary surfboard travel bags drinks surfboard travel bags --- i.e., the government thinks it knows what is good for you more than you do, and it believes it has the right to impose that view on you.
Regarding minority incarceration rates, I believe that they are caught and prosecuted in higher numbers because they are more likely to commit the types of crimes that are easy to catch. When it comes to blacks, we will never solve the employment and crime problems specific to them until their culture changes. That statement doesn t look very nice in writing but I believe it to be true. Here are a couple of anecdotes to explain what I mean. When I ve talked to some of my cop friends about black incarceration rates, surfboard travel bags they ve given me a rundown of what they ve arrested people for and asked me which ones should be let out. That ends the conversation. When I ve been approached downtown for directions, or given a sales pitch, or even been waited on by someone in the service industry who happens to be black, surfboard travel bags I m struck by the number of times I ve thought this person could never be hired at a medium or upscale corporate job because of the way he/she speaks. It s very unfortunate.
I m so glad that for most jobs, your actual qualifications surfboard travel bags (you know, education and training and experience and attitude), and not merely how you sound to someone surfboard travel bags downtown while asking for directions.
The war on drugs tends to concentrate on reducing consumption by severely surfboard travel bags punishing people involved surfboard travel bags in the drug trade, thereby raising prices of illicit drugs since there are so many risks and other costs (bribes, infrastructure to remain undetected, surfboard travel bags etc.) to enter this line of work. Many years ago, politicians wrongly concluded that the higher price of illicit drugs would thereby decrease demand, almost commensurately. However, as we all know, demand for drugs is quite inelastic. A recent study found that demand for drugs decreased by only 5% for every 10% increase in price. And it s estimated that the mark up for drugs, given their illicit nature, is about 200%
Right now, the US spends about $100B/year in fighting surfboard travel bags the war on drugs. This does not include intangible costs, surfboard travel bags such as neighborhood blight. Additionally, about $40K/year is spent on each prisoner. Nobel laureate economist Gary Becker contends, and I agree, that we should reallocate that $100B/year to something that just might provide more public good. Then allow drugs to be sold with about a 200% excise tax that would provide even more funding for our local, state and federal governments.
What do the rest of you think? Will providing legality for now illicit drugs create surfboard travel bags a lot more users? Are there other ideas for reducing consumption. Do programs like DARE make a dent? Is the real answer effective parenting and teaching children and teens about actions and consequences?
1) There actually is some evidence that increased incarceration decreases crime -- and that the benefits at least arguably exceed the costs. Is this evidence conclusive? Absolutely not but I do not think one can fairly claim there is no evidence surfboard travel bags or even no good evidence surfboard travel bags in that direction.
2) Any theory

Remember when Tom Cruise jumped on Oprah's couch, and America wedding car rental in los angeles started to think he was a little wedding car rental in los angeles nutty? The way a new tell-all book from a Pulitzer Prize winning author tells it, that was one of his good days! The Tom Cruise that writer Lawrence Wright is introducing in his expose is a guy on a mission to protect us from aliens !
That's only a small portion of what Going Clear: wedding car rental in los angeles Scientology, Hollywood The Prison of Belief wants us to believe about the guy was once the hottest actor in Hollywood. wedding car rental in los angeles And believe it or not, it's not what makes Katie Holmes and Nicole Kidman sound like the luckiest women on the planet for getting away from Tom.
A break-down of Wright's book in the New York Post this weekend revealed a guy who is said to have broken up with a girlfriend for having the audacity to suffer cramps during dinner. Naz Boniadi's menstrual moment was reportedly a disrespect to a high-ranking wedding car rental in los angeles crazy pants Scientologist like Cruise.
And this guy has gotten three living, breathing women to marry him? I'd take the dork living in Mom's basement at 25 over the jerk who dismisses you for daring to have a period any day of the week, wouldn't you?
It's the Scientology belief that we have alien life forms within us that are trying to destroy humankind that is getting all the buzz right now because -- hello -- Tom Cruise believes we have aliens inside us, and he wants to vanquish them!
The Tom Cruise that this book is showing us is a guy who doesn't seem to have any respect for the human life he supposedly wedding car rental in los angeles wants to protect (you know, from the aliens). Instead he comes off as a guy who treats women like chattel : auditioning wives , dumping a wife while she was pregnant (that would be Kidman wedding car rental in los angeles who allegedly had the DNA from her miscarried fetus preserved to prove it was Tom's), and more.
For the women in his life, this is the stuff that can be downright dangerous. And for Americans, this is the stuff that should really make us re-evaluate whether we want to watch this guy's movies. Like the racist ranting from Mel Gibson that shut down his career, these claims -- if there is truth to them of course -- really need to push Tom Cruise out of theaters.
I don't believe things like this. People pick on him because he dares to believe that there might be more to the world than humans. But the actual scientists wedding car rental in los angeles looking for big foot are totally ok? I don't really believe in any of that but I don't think the people that do are stupid or crazy (although some are). The world is a big mysterious place, it could happen.
I usually have no problem wedding car rental in los angeles separating a persons private wedding car rental in los angeles life with their professional life but I'll admit it...when Tom got very verbal about how Scientology makes him different and special,etc..jumping around, laughing like a loony for no reason on a web-cast...well, I'm sorry but it DOES make it harder for me to watch his movies and believe he is the character he's playing.(that makes sense, right?lol) Anyway, I CAN watch him in a movie but the whole time I'm watching it, in the back of my mind I have 'crazy tom cruise' footage playing over and over and over... lol.
I lost all respect for him when he suddenly served Nicole with divorce papers. While I suspect that the movie "Eyes Wide Shut" and her nude Broadway performance may have been the catalyst, it was just a lousey and cowardly wedding car rental in los angeles thing to do. I stopped watching any movies Cruise was in at that point. Then karma bitch slapped him in the face when Katie did the same thing to Cruise that he did to Nicole. From all the reports that have surfaced, he is a controlling SOB. I pity the next woman who gets involved because she has been for warned.
I will occasionally watch Tom Cruise's movies, but my boyfriend refuses because he doesn't want Scientology to benefit from his hard earned money. He's done a lot of research into Scientology and it's pretty eye opening when you learn about them.
I have a HUGE problem with Scientology and their belief that psychiatry wedding car rental in los angeles is evil. They're also a pyramid scheme. You have to buy your way into it. The higher ranking members, such as Cruise, benefit financially from lower ranking members. It's not a harmless little religion. People should educate themselves about it and listen to what former members have to say about their hard earned freedom. Scary, scary stuff!

During Jennifer Lawrence's acceptance speech for Best Actress at the SAG Awards last night, she thanked ocean cruises turkey MTV for giving her the job that got her a SAG card when she was 14. Entertainment Weekly posted Jennifer Lawrence's commercials for My Super Sweet 16 and it made me remember the good old days when MTV used to show important documentaries ocean cruises turkey about teenage pieces of diamond-encrusted spoiled trash who threatened to shank their dad in the neck if he didn't buy them a Hummer or get some local rapper to perform at their 16th birthday party. I sometimes wonder ocean cruises turkey what happened to those spoiled ass brats. MTV should do another follow-up, because I really need to know if the parents eventually went broke from spoiling their asshole child and had to move into the Hummer.
The Daily Mail says that Jennifer's dress ripped, but it didn't rip. The bottom part detached from the top part. The Dior people designed it that way. Because of Jennifer's detachable dress, she gets best dressed of the night from me. I mean, wearing a detachable dress allows you to do ALL of the following:
2. Easily have a quickie in the car while driving to the event. With a detachable dress, you no longer have to suffer through the hassle of pulling up your dress to bone. Just detach, open your legs and get it.
3. Easily bust out a dramatic quick change moment while sashaying to the dance floor. Give the party goers some theater by dramatically ripping off the bottom of your dress as you walk to the dance floor. I once went to a wedding ocean cruises turkey where during the first dance, the groom detached ocean cruises turkey the bottom part of his bride's ball gown to reveal the sequined miniskirt she had on underneath. It was the moment of the wedding and you know I gave it three snaps and a standing ovation.
Earlier in the thread people were complaining that the industry ocean cruises turkey is pushing Jennifer Lawrence as a great beauty. I feel the same thing has been going on with Emma Stone. I have no problem with either of them as actresses. I actually think there should be mote average-looking actors and actresses.
I kind of agree, I think both a pretty ocean cruises turkey and both have a girl next door quality but neither really have that drop dead gorgeous quality to them, which is fine and will probably make them more believable in future roles.
Average at best is a tad harsh. She may not be a supermodel but she has bags of sex appeal which is the most important thing. One of the reasons she's the starlet du jour is her appeal to straight guys.
Emmanuelle Riva was best but of course she won't get it and was lucky to be nominated, so I presume Chastain ocean cruises turkey is worthy - one actress who lives up to the hype and has an unusual back story, suddenly bursting into the limelight at the age of 35 (initially her age was lied about which I actually would've believed had they not changed it).
Hey coco! I thought Winter's Bone had a great idea for a storyline. ocean cruises turkey I thought it was very interesting. But she stuck out like a Hollywood actress in the Ozarks, which is weird because she's from Kentucky (but then again, Louisville is a big city and definitely not the country). Her accent was atrocious. But maybe the problem is that I've lived in the Ozarks before. She just didn't look or sound like she belonged there.
I saw Winter's Bone ages ago, and I thought, "Who's that girl acting like she's from the Ozarks?" I saw Silver Linings last night, ocean cruises turkey and I thought, "Tone it down a little!" She's OK looking for a chipmunk ocean cruises turkey and her acting ocean cruises turkey isn't horrible. I agree with whoever said she's fucking Weinstein, though. Or people like the "I'm a tough chick" thing. I don't know; I don't get it.
I like her. Seems grounded and is talented. As for looks, she is at least attractive, and where was all this vitriol for Patton Oswald yesterday (an actor I love, BTW), if we are just talking about actors based on looks?
I didn't think they were promoted that way, but I only know movie people from here and the theater since magazine ocean cruises turkey profiles annoy me. Anyway, my brain has had enough of JLaw (ugh, that nickname) for today lol.
AgentBrittany: I'm just assuming she never finished, since she states (p. 164 of VF's February issue): "I didn't go to high school. I am vastly uneducated." When asked if she'd ever want to go back, she says, "Absolutely not." Anyway, apparently I've too much time on my hands today!
Earlier ocean cruises turkey in the thread people were complaining that the industry is pushing Jennifer Lawrence as a great beauty. I feel the same thing has been going on with Emma Stone. Hahaha! Thanks for reminding me, Snowy - I nearly died at that part, and when we left the cinema it was ALL anyone could talk about. It was hilarious! I wish I could find the interview - Ridley said that Jesus Christ was one of the Engineers and they sent him to earth, but we killed him. I just don't get why they would wait 2,000 years to carry out their revenge, though. But they were preparing that arsenal of bio-weapons ocean cruises turkey to fire against Earth when the bio-weapons turned on them. It did not make ANY sense.
That wasn't ocean cruises turkey meant to be an angry statement. I'm just saying I hear that so much that I think it seems to offend people more when a girl isn't their definition of pretty more than when she's untalented. You didn't say Emma Stone was lacking in talent, you just called her fug. Why is that even a part of the argument as why she should leave Hollywood? And I've read that comment about Stone from you before with nothing else added. Again, I'm not saying this angrily, and I'm laughing ocean cruises turkey at myself for even taking this seriously.
Kerry Washington is SO damn smart. I saw her on the "Daily Show" and I was so impressed by her in depth knowledge. It was kind of funny how surprised I was-the bar for an actress's opinions is so fucking low. "I want to screw Obama!" is what we usually get lol.
I haven't seen her act in anything, so I can't comment on any acting ability. She does seem sweet and un-starlet-like in interviews though, and I do appreciate that she appears to not be starving herself or making numerous appts with a plastic surgeon (yet).
Nicole Sullivan (Mad TV, King of Queens) recently called ocean cruises turkey bullshit on those stars who have bikini bodies right after giving birth and do interviews claiming they lost weight just by chasing ocean cruises turkey after their kids and such. She said she does the same thing and hasn't lost a damn pound.
I love Jennifer Lawrence as an actress. ocean cruises turkey I saw Silver Linings Playbook and she definitely deserves the nominations ocean cruises turkey and the wins. She was great. My favorite role though is Winters Bone. Wow. Knockout performance.
LOL Lucy! But I loved Lost, but yeah, it was too fuckin convaluded. And I just couldn't with the aliens.....LOL @ tenatacle rape. what about when she got in the pod thing and came up with a way for it to take the alien baby out of her and sew her up without anesthsia and then she went out and fought some more bad guys?
Speaking of Charlize, I watched Prometheus over the weekend. She sucked in it as did everyone. I really did not like that movie. and i like all the actors. Even Assbender who I hadn't seen before was good, until he was just a head, lying on the ground, talking to lisbeth Salander....
Ha! There was so much stupidity in that film. As I was watching it I kept going back and forth in my head, wondering what it was that I specifically hated; and then the credits rolled and I saw "Written by Damon Lindelof" and I knew. He's responsible for the mess that was Lost.
I've liked her since I saw "Winter's Bone" at a film festival before there was any hype, and I hoped that the girl in it would become successful. I think a lot of people at film festivals had this experience, and I'm glad word got around for an unknown. For an actress to create buzz that way with a small indie film is very rare, and she had a maturity in it that many young ones can't pull off. And I don't see her going the stupid movie route that other young girls seem to do for a quick buck and some attention (that spring break movie, anyone?). Her nonanorexic figure is also something rare for HWood, and so what if people appreciate that? As if it's natural for women to whittle down to sample sizes, even if they start their careers at a size 4 anyway, and all while bloated ass and nerdy men are shoved into my face because they have the privilege of being judged ocean cruises turkey for their talent. And I'm not threatened by pretty actresses, but I certainly notice when they're not deserving of their success, so I say keep this one (who is also pretty IMO).
Que cochina: I agree that celebrities *should not* be role models. But some were saying that since she's not a drugged up party animal, she'd be a more suitable role model for young fans than Ms. Lohan.
2) it sort of makes me call bullshit on her "I'm just a normal girl from a normal family in a small town" story because WTF was she doing auditioning for MTV promos at 14 then? She must have one of those stage mom's like Jennifer Love Hewitt's mom who used to fly her or drive her to LA several times a year to audition for things ocean cruises turkey and sorry, but that is not a normal small town experience.
Hey Whams, I know how you really appreciate old 70's music. I got totally blown away by the documentary Searching for Sugarman, this guy was GREAT. You should listen to some of his music from that era. Give it a listen, tell me what ya think.
Speaking of Charlize, I watched Prometheus over the weekend. She sucked ocean cruises turkey in it as did everyone. I really did not like that movie. and i like all the actors. There was a follow up type of show on MTV about some of the sweet 16 girls that were now between 18 - 20 having to go to a foreign country to see what life is like for other people or else get cut off from there rich parents.

Francesco Schettino, the captain of the ill-fated Italian cruise ship, the Costa Concordia on the night she hit a reef 300 metres from the shore of an island and partially sank, is in court trying to get his job back.
Schettino, who still awaits his trial on multiple charges including manslaughter and abandoning his ship, is in a court near Naples this week, not far from his home, to protest his firing and to try and get his job back.
He was fired from by Costa Cruises and has been on house arrest since the tragedy, which took the lives of 32 passengers and crew. When asked prior to the closed-door session if he felt he would again command a ship Schettino, who has always maintained he helped save lives and was not responsible for hitting the reef, told Italian journalist "Yes, certainly."
The Costa Concordia hit a reef Jan. 13, 2012 in the waters of Italy's Tuscan Bay 300 meters from the shore of the island of Giglio, when Schettino gave the orders to go too close to shore. He did so to 'salute' a retired airline prices Costa Cruises captain. Upon hitting the reef, the ship listed and partially sank. Sixty-five percent of the ship remains underwater.
airline prices In transcripts from the bridge that night, released in September, he is heard telling his crew to sail toward the island to perform the salute . Later, airline prices in the midst of the tragedy he calls the Costa Cruises emergency center and tells the officer on duty, Roberto Ferrarini: "Roberto, I fucked up!" He also tells Ferrarini he passed "close by and I hit shallow water with the stern." Since then, Schettino has claimed the reef he hit was not charted.
After giving the abandon ship order over an hour after hitting the reef, that despite pleas from his crew to give it earlier, he calls his wife Fabiola at their home. "Fabi', my career as a captain airline prices is over. We hit a reef, the ship is listing airline prices but I performed airline prices a great maneuver; everything is under control," he says. "Don't worry, let's forget all this sailing and we can start another job."
The 114,500 ton ship remains off the coast of Giglio but is being refloated by Titan Salvage, an American company, along with Micoperi, an Italian company, who plan to tow it to a port to be scrapped sometime this year.

So the big question here is how small can I go for just my wife and I to go out on and putt around.

expedia com one way airline tickets We have a rocky bottom river, the Susquehanna, but don't really need to make a habit out running the boat aground. expedia com one way airline tickets My sister n law has a pontoon boat and has been taking expedia com one way airline tickets it various expedia com one way airline tickets places from rays town lake to OC MD. Primarily she keeps it in the river and anchors out. We'd like to be able to tie up next to her and have our own small boat she she doesn't have to come get us. We would sometimes like to be able to go to the Chesapeake bay and hit some small inlets around there and some sandy beaches I know about where you can gently beach the craft with no damage. Also the keys which are super shallow and not too choppy. The OC MD bay and the Chesapeake bay do get very choppy but the river doesn't really.
So the big question here is how small can I go for just my wife and I to go out on and putt around. We aren't big fishers but might like to get more into that. We don't pull tubes or skiers. expedia com one way airline tickets I've been looking at little boston expedia com one way airline tickets whalers down here in the keys that are 13 to 18 feet long, and up to 18 foot long aluminum John boats which are hugely popular expedia com one way airline tickets in the pa rivers. I think the JB may not be good on the bays and ocean coast, though I have no intention of ever leaving sight of shore. Can a little expedia com one way airline tickets 13 foot whaler do what we need, can an aluminum boat handle some florida water? We just want to cruise around when the weather is nice would try not to be out on rough water though it happens.
Unless you're inclined to sit on a hard wood/fiberglass bench as found on the 13' 15' Whaler models, you might consider other Whaler models such as the 16' Dauntless, 17' Montauk, or 18' Outrage classics (1985-1991). These all handle a small chop nicely, are easily trailerable, and conducive to pulling up onto a beach. Resale is good too should you want to move up in size one day.
A couple thoughts. A 17' Montauk will be big enough to give you a decent ride and be safe while being small enough to haul up and down the east coast. This is basically what we do.....we boat all the upstate SC lakes; then head to Charleston, cruise around and fish near shore reefs and inshore, then head to the Keys at least once a year. I had a BW 15' and really enjoyed this boat. The gunnels are pretty small and it is tough on an old man riding around all day. The wooden bench seat is hard and low! My 21' BW was a fishing machine but a pretty big hunk of fiberglass to pull back and forth from the beach and keys for me. We now have a BW Montauk, 17'. This is a perfect size for my needs. Safe, big enough to move around in and be comfortable. Decent ride but we mostly just idle around unless we are heading somewhere to fish or eat. The reversible pilot seat (RPS) is soft and comfortable. It has a small center expedia com one way airline tickets console to store your gear. An anchor well up front so you can store an anchor and fenders. The fuel tank is 24 gallons expedia com one way airline tickets so it does not cost and arm and a leg to operate expedia com one way airline tickets and still gives you decent range. We also have a bimini top to provide shade especially expedia com one way airline tickets in the keys. We have taken this boat to the islamorada Hump and caught tuna, wahoo and dolphin. We also fished the flats in the Keys and SC. So for what we like to do it is perfect. Hope this helps....go luck in your search. You can also search Whaler Central and the Continuous Wave web sights for more info.
Thanks.. Thanks for the advice. We are staying in Islamarado Florida right now and went to look at two 15' whalers. One from the late 80's with a newer merc for 6,000$ and a newer one at same dealer from 2008 for around $11,500. Looks the same but has a modern (ripped) vinyl bench seat instead of the older ones all wood bench. Come to think of int neither look comfortable. I didn't know about the 16' and 17' or 18'? Models but the 17 sounds nice and may be an all around nicer model. We went to look at a newer and bigger whaler across the street and there was a real nice 17' maybe, it was 2004 with newer motor for 16k. Obviously the price jumps big in those couple of extra feet.
Off topic slightly but still on my mind is the fact that my step father and mom used to come down to Sebastian inlet and the keys and bring their aluminum John boat. They had a good time on it I guess but would hire a charter captain to go way out. My mom caught an 8 foot long sail fish and spent all afternoon landing it. She has a mounted version of it at home in the wall. So anyway I guess you can take a small aluminum boat down here but I haven't seen any the whole time we've been here. New or used or in the water.
I do not know much about an aluminum boat in saltwater. They would be lighter and easier to tow. Hopefully someone will jump in concerning the aluminum option. My thoughts on a BW 15' is it will limit where you can go. When in the Keys you will most likely have to stick to the Gulf side. The jump to a BW 17' (Montauk) just gives you a lot more options. A 1998 Montauk with a 90 yamaha should run between $13,000 and $14,000. A friend just sold his for $14,000. Go luck in your boat search. What a great place to look at boats..............the Keys!
The Susquehanna can get VERY low. Add in going all around the east coast. You may want a lightweight Aluminum V bottomed boat with VERY comfortable, bolted down adjustabile height seats with arm rests. expedia com one way airline tickets a Bolted on, fold down, Stand under Bimini TYPE of top you can anchor in comfort in the shade. You would need 2 anchors to block the sun with the top.
Shallow STEEP angled ramps are easier with light boats. Make sure the motor is within 10% of the rated maximum expedia com one way airline tickets hp. You will appreciate the speed when a sudden squall comes at you. 40 mph @ WOT is a minumum for salt waters with wind tides to go against. The motor MUST have a power trim up down.
There are OLD trailers called a Break neck . They allow the rear of the trailer to drop right down to the ground. The O B motor MUST be way up. They are the best when trying to trailer in out of long shallow launchings.
The whaler is unsinkable, and will float level if swamped. Hold their resale value and are very safe, even in nearshore open water. Only drafts about 12 so it's and easy boat to pull up on shore. It one of the best hulls around, been around for 50 years, you can't go wrong. If you. are spending about 15k, the newer 17 outrages, expedia com one way airline tickets dauntless, newport and mountauk are all great too. They have a newer style hull and ride better.
For what you are describing expedia com one way airline tickets I would get a 18' Lund Alaskan (aluminum semi-v) with a 50-60hp tiller or console and the awesome Lund factory pedestal seats. Tows easy and no worries about bumping into stuff, unlike the relatively thin glass on the Whaler.
I bought a 1982 16' shortshaft for the kids in 1982 with a Evinrude 9.9 hp electric start. Still perfect after being run on top of rocky bottoms every year. Many times. expedia com one way airline tickets Same motor with 2 minor repairs. added a electric anchor to the bow plate. Hand crank up transom anchor. Very tall Bimini top. 2 bilge pumps. 1 is a 500 gph the other is a 2,000 ? gph. Bothe are the Rule Computer types. No floats to stick on or off. They have never runn the battery expedia com one way airline tickets down during a week of heavy rains with no boat covers.

Cruising is an ever-growing choice for Canadian vacationers. No longer the domain of the well-heeled traveller, cruises are now much more accessible (especially in terms of cost) than ever before. Deals abound on cruise packages that promise you idyllic sailing adventures through the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Alaska, even Antarctica.
A common complaint, however, especially from first-time cruisers, is the confusing definition of 'all inclusive.'  As one of my neighbours whinged to me after a Christmas-time cruise to Hawaii, "How can it be called 'all-inclusive' when I had to pay for my soft drink?"
Extra charges differ according to the ship you're on, and the holiday package you've booked. Sure, coffee may be included when served at your table at breakfast, but what if you fancy a late-night tea delivered to your room? And then there are basic shore excursions. Perhaps you assume such outings are part of the all-inclusive package but you're shocked to see a $180 tab on your end-of-sail invoice? That's where you need to be careful. north miami beach hotels Know what's included, what's not, and then make a decision before you rack up too many extra charges.
So, kudos to All Things Cruise for charting a new course on how travellers can truly understand what they're paying for on their cruise. The editorial team has produced an almost definitive list of cruises with specifics on what's included and what you have to pay for out of your very own pocket.
All Things Cruise compares, item by item, what's included – and what's not – on 33 of the most popular cruises favoured by North American travellers, such as Cunard, Holland America, Royal Caribbean Line, Viking River, Lindblad Expeditions north miami beach hotels , Disney Cruiseline and Princess Cruises .
