Country: Re: Playing around with 981 configurator: Porsche Adaptive Cruise Control This is the way cruise control should have always been. With - non active- cruise control,it talkeetna alaska lodging is rare when you can simply set it and go without having to intervene on a regular basis. Active Cruise Control is supposed to get much less expensive ( except for Porsche talkeetna alaska lodging - of course- where costs never go down) as newer systems are using cameras ( which are relatively inexpensive) rather than radar to monitor traffic and control talkeetna alaska lodging the system. This will knock many hundreds off of the cost of this option in general. talkeetna alaska lodging Share Share this post on Digg Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter Facebook!

I tried getting a car over $100k, but I kept getting bounced backwards by incompatible packages. Did you notice they had the cruise set at 50 in a 40 MPH ZONE??? They just documented evidence talkeetna alaska lodging of speeding!! Someone send this to the authorities!!! Share Share this post on Digg Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter Facebook!

My brother's M5 reads speed limit signs and displays talkeetna alaska lodging the info on the dash and head's up display. It will warn you (if you want) that you are exceeding a limit. It also sees brake lights and warns you that traffic talkeetna alaska lodging is slowing. The lane departure system induces a simulating rumble strip sensation in the steering wheel if you depart your lane without signaling. The tech is incredible.
The new M5 and other cars in the future completely disable standard radar detectors with about 1/2 mile of the car. They surround the car with K and X band radiation that drive detectors bonkers. You have to disable all K and X band sensing and only look for Ka when in the presence of these cars. Share Share this post on Digg Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter Facebook!

My Nokia Drive GPS app on my phone shows me the speed limit and peeps at me if I go to fast (I can preset the limit). It is not always correct though (although in 95% of the cases it is spot on), and it is driving me nuts when my navigator/co-pilot is telling me that I am going over by 3 miles . Country: Re: Playing around with 981 configurator: Porsche talkeetna alaska lodging Adaptive Cruise Control So it doesn't slow down for red lights if a car is not in front of you but it does if a car is in front of you? Yeah, I'd trust your average citizen with this. Share Share this post on Digg Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter Facebook!

So does your boxster... talkeetna alaska lodging I have mine show me the speed limit but I turn off the warning that I'm speeding talkeetna alaska lodging (cause if I didn't, it'd be beeping all the time lol)

Mark I want to say you go to CAR - Option - Set Car - Personal talkeetna alaska lodging Settings. It lets you configure whats in the first screen when you hit the car button. talkeetna alaska lodging I have mine on Closest gas station (its cool you just click it and it enters it into the nav) Current Speed, Speed limit, Max Speed (for the current talkeetna alaska lodging trip). On the down side then your passenger can get all freaked out about how fast your going when it feels like nothing talkeetna alaska lodging but youre going 90mph. But there is a ton of **** it there from steering angle to longitudal force and what not.
Its the only downside ive seen with how configurable both displays are....I can never make up my mind with what I want on these screens. talkeetna alaska lodging Share Share this post on Digg Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter Facebook! talkeetna alaska lodging Mike R. likes this.

I am looking forward to spending hours playing around hehe... But I will have to set it to not show the speed limit for the obvious reason if family is driving with me hehe...

Is that a standard feature? So the car reads the speed limit signs and shows the speed limit in the dash? Have a picture of this by any chance? I doubt that the car can read I think the Nav's database system has that information. It may even be the Navteq talkeetna alaska lodging system that feeds the info to my Nokia Drive app... When I bought the Garmin, it also included all the speed cameras and it warns you when approaching one. A paid subscription will update this data as cameras are added or moved. Share Share this post on Digg Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter Facebook
