I ll be honest, I ve always turned my nose at fixed-value award programs because they limit the maximum value you can get out of the program. What s the fun in getting a single measly cent per point? But the fact of the matter is that there are a lot of people out there who don t need international first class tickets or simply don t have the time or flexibility to make award tickets work.
