This fascinating tour visits Music City USA for one night. Then we continue to Kalamazoo for two nights then on to Holland, Michigan for the annual Tulip Festival. We'll stay on Mackinac Island for one night, where transportation on the island is limited to horse-drawn carriages. We'll enjoy a special lunch at The Grand Hotel, which boasts the world's largest front porch. On to the Bavarian Village extended stay hotels motels of Frankenmuth, a visit to Bronner's Christmas Wonderland and an evening in Akron. A guided tour of the Ohio Amish Country is also included.

MAY 13 … Breakfast this morning in the dining room followed extended stay hotels motels by an enlightening tour of the island by horse-drawn surrey.  The tour ends at the Grand Hotel for lunch in the elegant main dining  and time to enjoy the rocking chairs along the front porch and tulips in the front yard before departing the island again by ferry to the mainland.  We reunite with the motor coach and travel south with a stop in the Bavarian Village of Frankenmuth, where every day is Christmas and the pastry shops are out of this world. Our lodging is the Bavarian Inn, home to the town's glockenspiel and a wonderful evening experience in the restaurant with German cuisine and entertainment.  B D
MAY 14 … After a leisurely breakfast this morning we visit the Bronner's Christmas Wonderland, the largest collection of Christmas ornaments and decorations in the world. Continue south through southern Michigan and on to Akron, Ohio for the night. The evening is reserved at the Quaker Square Inn built from a converted silo complex that once held more than 1.5 million grain bushels. Enjoy deluxe accommodations and time to shop at the shopping complex adjacent to the hotel. B
MAY 15 … Breakfast is sure to include Quaker Oats. We meet a local guide for a tour of the Ohio Amish Country. These folks lead a simple way of life with strong religious morals and without the use of modern "fancy" gadgets such as electricity and automobiles. The tour will include narration of the Amish way of life with stops at the one room school house, a bakery and cheese shop, and an opportunity to shop for some of the Amish crafts and visit Lehman's Hardware Store. An Amish lunch is included before continuing to the Mountaineer State of West Virginia extended stay hotels motels for the night. B L D
